For me, Grant’s Farm is more than just a place to visit. It’s filled with memories of visiting with my grandpa, who worked for Anheuser-Busch. Every year, we’d spend the whole day walking around, seeing the animals, enjoying shows, and relaxing in the Biergarten. It was a time to bond, and I feel closest to him when I’m there.
The farm is home to over 900 animals, including exotic species like camels, zebras, and bison. Visitors can interact with goats, sheep, and other barnyard animals in the petting zoo. It’s a great experience for animal lovers of all ages.
The tram tour is a highlight, taking you through the beautiful grounds and offering insights into the farm’s history. Along with the tram, you can catch animal shows where elephants and other animals perform. The entire farm is easy to navigate, and with plenty of places to eat, it’s perfect for a full day out.
What makes Grant’s Farm truly special is that it’s free to visit (aside from parking and some activities), making it an affordable option for families. You can spend a day in nature, enjoy a picnic, or just relax in a beautiful setting.
It’s also a nostalgic spot for locals, with a timeless charm that makes it a favorite for generations. Whether you’re a long-time St. Louis resident or a visitor, Grant’s Farm offers something for everyone.
